Meet the Class Leader:
Katie Boland has been a Waldorf teacher for over 18 years, working with children from birth to 18. In 2021, she pioneered an experiential outdoor education program that serves Teens Grow Greens Southside interns and apprentices. Most recently, she worked for the UW extension to help create a thriving curriculum for their Growing Connections program with Milwaukee Christian Community and Running Rebels. She has found that the most important thing she can help her students to learn is that they are one with nature. Doing this allows us to reconnect to the great outdoors, ourselves, and others.
