Parent & Child Nature Class

Every Third Friday of the Month

(9/16, 10/21, 11/18, 12/16,

1/20, 2/17, 3/17, 4/21, 5/19)

 

Meet at the Riverside Park Urban Ecology Center

From 11:30 - 12:30

 

Activities May Include:

  • hike (rain or shine)

  • play time

  • circle time

  • puppet play/story

  • seasonal craft

  • parenting support/discussions

 

We will end with a picnic lunch at the UEC building if you would like to bring your lunch.

 

This class is designed for parents/caregivers and children from birth – 4 years of age.

The class will be led by Martha Flores, Waldorf Kindergarten teacher of 20 years and Current Pedagogical Director at Tamarack Waldorf School and Dorothy Kulke, former Waldorf teacher, owner of a LifeWays inspired daycare center and current Enrollment and Outreach Coordinator at Tamarack Waldorf School.  This class seeks to be a warm, nurturing, and safe place for parents/caregivers and their children to learn songs, fingerplays, and other fun activities in nature as well as foster a supportive community for the parents/caregivers. This is a free class and open to all.
