Ms. Hunter is graduating!
Mrs. Hunter is Graduating
Ceal Hunter, a supporter and founding parent of Tamarack Waldorf School since the first day our school opened in 1996, will be retiring (or "graduating," as she has told the students). Her career spans over two decades, and she has worked to lay the foundation of learning support for our students for many years. Mrs. Hunter has been a reliable and hard-working colleague over the years, who always remained an advocate for support services for every student who needed that extra foundation in order to reach their full potential. Mrs. Hunter created our current Learning Support program through her dedication to Waldorf education and her dedication to working with children with love and patience no matter what they struggled with.
Over the years, Mrs. Hunter did whatever it took to ensure Tamarack Waldorf School remained a successful Waldorf school and always reminded her colleagues to ask questions, seek help and study child development and the Waldorf philosophy. She helped create many study groups over the years and regularly attended Eurythmy classes with Mary Ruud, always welcoming those who were interested and able. Most recently, she introduced Lilo, her smart and patient rescue dog, who has become a beloved member of the faculty (with his own TWS badge) and beloved amongst the students in Kindergarten through eighth grade.
Mrs. Hunter will be missed, and it will be difficult to start a new school year without her guiding love and grounding attitude. We wish Mrs. Hunter all the best as she enters a new passageway into a life outside of Tamarack's walls. Lilo will also be missed, and we hope that he continues his education as a service dog who always accepts treats as a form of payment.
We thank Mrs. Hunter for all she has done for Tamarack.
She will be missed, and we wish her all the best.
