Look Inside Tamarack - September 2021

It was a busy summer of cleaning, reorganizing, and readying the school for the return of students. Take a glimpse inside the building and at the first few days of learning!

2021 First Grade Bridging and Rose Ceremony

Opening Bridging and Rose Ceremony Each year our new first graders have the special experience of being welcomed into the Grades. Their kindergarten teacher will escort them to their first grade classroom as the parents stand witness to this milestone. Later, the grades gather to hear from each teacher about what the year will hold and what new adventures await. Finally, the new first graders are welcomed with a rose from our eighth graders. It's a lovely way to mark the start of a new year.

Pentathlon 2021

Our 5th and 6th graders were able to compete against each other in long jump, discus throw, javelin throw and a 40 yard dash in this year's Pentathlon.

May Festival 2021

It was a cold one! We typically have the whole school together to celebrate the coming of spring and the end of the school year but due to COVID, we had to make adjustments. We are so grateful that we were able to dance together and share this with you! Thank you, Erin at https://oneshotscottphotography.com/ for capturing the magic!

Grade 3 Play

"Hadassah, Brave and Beautiful: The Story of Queen Esther of Persia", in alignment with the curriculum theme of the Hebrew stories and the celebration of Purim! Of course, there was also a class play party on Purim to celebrate, complete with noisemakers, masks and Hamentachen cookies! We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did!
