Second Grade Teacher Mr. Price

Early Childhood / Kindergarten Assistant
Two kindergarten assistant positions are open, one in a K4/K5 class and one in the early childhood class, made up largely of 3-year-olds who turn 4 during the year. The responsibilities include helping the teacher hold the children and the space and guiding the children. Must be able to hold children in small groups during the morning and be the lead teacher two afternoons a week. The positions are part-time hourly, during the school day.

Grade Assistant
A position to assist teachers in the lower grade classes is open. The duties encompass assisting the teachers in the classrooms, working with small groups of children or individuals in academic skill areas, taking responsibility for a class while the teacher has another responsibility in the building and recess supervision. The position is part-time hourly. The schedule is to be determined. A BA or BS is required.

Handwork Assistant
Assisting the Handwork Teacher in the early grades classes, this position is part-time hourly, two to three mornings a week from 11am to 12:30pm. Responsibilities will include assisting the lead teacher in setting up handwork classes, helping guide students in their class projects and helping maintain an appropriate classroom working environment.
